A scarce and informative entry in the field of African-American bibliography, compiled by Jessie Parkhurst Guzman, Director of the Department of Records and Research at the Tuskegee Institute in 1950. This is the expanded second edition of the work first published a year earlier, totaling just nineteen pages. The present work lists more than 400 books, periodicals, and pamphlets relating to civil rights, as well as the relationship between civil rights and "the negro," education, employment, law, and restrictive covenants.
