A very rare, if not unrecorded African American religious pamphlet from Jim Crow Louisiana. This revised constitution was printed to govern the Thirteenth District Missionary Baptist Association in Shreveport in 1959. The purpose of the organization is "to promote and support Home and Foreign Missions, contribute to Christian Education, to develop and maintain Christian Unity and to give AID to struggling churches, also to foster Charitable Institutions." The constitution provides rules for membership, officers, the duties of officers, meetings, departments within the association, the presbytery, and more. No copies listed in OCLC.
